The National Chrome Divas Facebook page has created a group open to women who ride. The page is called "Women Who Love To Ride." Chrome Divas started with one thing in mind, encouraging women to ride and creating camaraderie while giving back to our communities. This page is open to all women riders and a great way for our members to connect to each other as well as other women who share a passion for riding. Join the page and join the momentum!

Chrome Divas Divas is excited to announce the Midwest region will be hosting two retreats in 2018! Earlier this month, the former Midwest Regional Directors, Shannon Henegar and Amy Robinson, along with the National Board collaborated together and decided to continue the annual retreat that has traditionally been held in Tennessee as well as a retreat in a centalized location. The annual gathering in Tennessee has grown over the years and is an event that many Midwest chapters look forward to. Chrome Divas has contributed approximately $3,500 in support of the Midwest Retreats and will continue supporting this event!
The new regional directors Michelle Amrine and Karyn Temple have begun the planning for the 2018 MW Retreat and sent out a survey to the members in the region and are looking for your input to plan the 2018 Midwest retreat. If you did not receive the survey in your email, you can access it from within your member profile area by clicking on the Engagement tab and then click on the Survey tab

Nominations will be accepted for Regional and Assistant Regional Officer positions from November 15 through December 10, 2016. You may nominate yourself or a registered member by filling out the online application which will be on the website, www.chromedivas.com under the Divas Only tab. To access the Divas Only section, you will need to login with your user name and password.
Please be sure to read the National Bylaws which are online in the Divas Only section to familiarize yourself with the position and responsibilities. If you feel you or someone you know is a good candidate and can serve the position, please make application. Below is a portion of the bylaws:
Four Regional Directors may be nominated by registered members in their region every two (2) years and will be represented on the National Board of Directors. The procedure is as follows:
A. Nominations will be accepted from November 15th through December 10th,
B. Primary Officers will review nominees and select the best suited for the position
C. Final results will be announced no later than December 31st. Regional Directors will be installed effective January 1st.

10-8-16: Some of our Louisville Divas joined the community to support this ride that donates proceeds to The American Cancer Society. This ride raised $8262. This was the 3rd event they put on this year, raising and donating over $15,000 to the American Cancer Society!

October 2016: Can't keep these two Louisville Divas down! Diva Kim "Wycked" Bishop~ Chapter Secretary/Activity Co-ordinator & Diva Elaine "Luscious" Codey ~ Chapter Safety Officer, have been planning a road trip from the 'Ville to Key West Florida. Unfortunately, hurricane Matthew reared its ugly head. "Screw it, let's ride!" was their response, as they headed west instead, exclaiming "See you on the corner in Winslow, Arizona!", as they drove out of sight. These bad a** biker chics were last seen in Tulsa, OK, on Route 66, having a great time!!!

10-9-16: While most of our Divas were out of town & vacationing this month, 5 were able to make it out for our October monthly chapter ride/activity. We had a crisp but beautiful day for it! We took the backroads, 4 on bikes, one in a car, to the 36th Annual Bardstown Arts & Crafts Fair. After brunch at Mammy's Kitchen, we checked out all the fair had to offer. When we'd had our fill, we took a nice ride to through Bernheim Forest, stopping to enjoy the beautiful day and each others company, before heading back to the 'Ville. A very good time was had by all!

The Watertown Chrome Divas 9th Annual 'Ta Ta' Run for Breast Cancer was held on August 27, 2016, and was a HUGE success with over 373 registered riders, and raised $ 12,430.03!!!!!! The 9th Annual 'Ta Ta' Run was the Watertown Chrome Divas best year yet! All proceeds from the 'Ta Ta' Run are being donated to the Cancer Service Program of Lewis and Jefferson Counties, and the Gouverneur Breast Cancer Fund.
We would like to thank ALL who made this event such a success, whether by donating a goods and service, made a monetary donation, volunteered their time to help at the Run, or who attended and rode, and we would like to send out a special thank you out to our Sister Chapters in the Northeast Region; Chrome Divas of Rochester, New York, Chrome Divas of Cortland, New York, and the Chrome Divas of Ottawa, Canada who made the journey to Watertown NY to share this special day with us. MUCH LOVE TO YOU ALL!
