The Chrome Divas of Daytona Beach, FL and Cortland, NY are working hard at keeping roads safe.  Both chapters recently participated in the Adopt a Highway program with the Department of Transportation.  The chapters are responsible for keeping the roads free of litter which ensures motorists' safety when traveling.  Riding a motorcycle and having less protection than riding in a vehicle makes this program especially important.  The chapters take the time to go out and remove litter from the roadway and in return, they are recognized by DOT for their efforts with a sign that recognizes the stretch of roadway that they are responsible for.  If you're interested in adopting a local roadway, check your state's website to see what the requirements are and take action like the Daytona Beach and Cortland Chrome Divas!
